I have the same original gundam kit. It's neat, but it was pain in a half to build with all the same pieces, plus I felt like some of the shoulder panels wouldn't stay on. Did you have any similar experiences?

My favorite model (that isn't broken) that I own is the 1/100 MG rx-178 gundam mk2. It's a beauty.

I'm not crazy for the mobile suits in Gundam Seed or Destiny. Its like in planning they said "hey, lets make the most ridiculous, powerful gundams ever." "wait, we did that in gundam wing, didn't we?" "alright, Achilles heel, they run on battery and once its up, they are vulernable." "make sure you screw the audience over by defeating that achilles heel and have the battery be on always" "good idea!"

on a side not: despite stupidly overpowered, it looks good.

Unicorn Gundam, I think, was a curve ball. The most recent Gundam series, sorta of lackluster, "made to sell toys" type of feeling. Unicorn on the other-hand; a great, quality story, engaging characters, epic battles, it left me wanting more. Which is more than I can say for Gundam Age.

haven't seen build fighters yet. last i checked, it wasn't done. did you enjoy gundam 00? i was surprised i enjoyed it, despite it being a gundam wing concept. but they kept killing off characters i didn't expect to die! i couldn't stop watching. thought the movie i thought ruined it -_-
